The team uses low-latency primary-key lookups in Fluss to reduce the state maintained inside Flink jobs. Cisco Webex reports that this reduces job memory usage to approximately one-third of the previous level.

Cisco Webex contributes implicit time partitioning, SASL/OAUTHBEARER authentication, and group-based ACL authorization to the Fluss community. These capabilities support data lifecycle management and integration with enterprise identity and access-control infrastructure.
